How the challenge works

This challenge takes you step-by-step through all three groups of Italian prepositions over the 30-day duration of the challenge.

You’ll learn everything from the 8 simple prepositions (a, di, da, in, con, su, per, tra/fra) to the 50+ articulated prepositions that merge with definite articles, the 30+ improper prepositions like attraverso, contro, dietro, and sopra, and the verbs followed by specific prepositions that trip up so many learners. With the help of real-world examples and interactive exercises, you’ll know exactly how and when to use them too!

Every second day, you’ll receive a focused video lesson that explains one preposition (or set of prepositions) at a time, followed by a fill-the-gap exercise to lock in what you’ve learned. On the day that follows, you’ll reinforce everything covered so far through a series of interactive quizzes — fill-in-the-blank texts, true or false, multiple choice, and translations.

It’ll take you about 15–20 minutes each day.
