How the challenge works

This challenge takes you step-by-step through 200+ commonly used Italian idioms over the 30-day duration of the challenge.

You’ll learn everything from food and body part idioms to expressions with fare, animals, colours, happiness and optimism, love and friendship, dating, and time and weather. With the help of real-world short stories and interactive exercises, you’ll know exactly how and when to use them too!

Every day, you’ll receive a focused video lesson that explains one themed set of idioms in context, with their English equivalents and bonus vocabulary notes. Right after, you’ll reinforce what you’ve learned through a series of interactive exercises designed to lock in each idiom.

It’ll take you about 15–20 minutes each day.
